View USC's full storyZenvoy does not support a member search functionality. All introductions made through our platform (on behalf of your networking community) utilize an algorithmic blind matching process. The Zenvoy introduction engine utilizes over 50 key data points to formulate matches based on mutually beneficial criteria. This process guarantees multiple points of compatibility, wherein both parties share an equitable opportunity probability. In short, we want to make sure that when you receive or interact with fellow community members that those interactions are of the highest value. FYI- Your community may support member to member communication through a community billboard and direct message capability. In this case, members are free to post and respond to each other including sending direct messages which, if responded to will exchange detailed contact information between both members
Congrats, you have been invited to join a Zenvoy networking community! Typically, this invite is sent on behalf of an organization you are already associated with i.e., your trade association, an event, club membership or alumni group. In either case, your sponsoring organization would love for you to better connect with fellow members/attendees to explore new business or social opportunities. There is absolutely no obligation to join and your membership typically free! By accepting this invite you are interested in 1-on-1 networking introductions to members from within your sponsor’s organization as frequently or infrequently as you like. We hope you seize this opportunity to expand your network!
We try to keep things simple. If the idea of meeting new colleague within your organization in a 1-on-1 capacity sounds interesting, then opting-in takes less than 3 minutes! There are two ways to join an existing networking community powered by Zenvoy: accept the private email invitation that you’ve been sent by your organization or join your organization’s public community. In either case, once you complete the on-boarding you may choose to receive a new introduction 1, 2 or 4 times per month. Treat these introductions as informal, yet obligatory opportunities to reach out and introduce yourself to a new colleague. The hope is that each new introduction reveals mutually beneficial values and benefits.
Short answer, nope. All networking communities on Zenvoy are non-searchable and each introduction you receive is provided via our algorithmic blind matching process. The only way to increase your network size is to actually be introduced via your community’s algorithm! Zenvoy is specifically designed to learn and adapt your introductions over time through feedback, statistical trends and buffers you control.
You were emailed a private invitation on behalf of your Trade Association, University Alumni Association or other affiliated networking group. You were included because an administrator inputted your name and email into their community member roster. If you are not interested, you may simply unsubscribe from invites. FYI- you will receive a new invitation each time you are added by an admin to a new networking community powered by Zenvoy. Check out more details on being invited to a networking community. In addition to your initial invitation, you will also receive a few automated invite reminders over time.
During the onboarding process you will be asked to input your skills and service. Choose at least three short descriptive words or phrases that highlight your key areas of competency. You may select from common Skills & Services tags or enter your own in the text box. Helpful reminder: Skill & Service tags are usually one or two word nouns. Examples might include: Tax Attorney, Marketing, Private Equity or Architect. Note: as you are typing keep an eye out for our smart suggestions, more likely than not your skill or service is already in our database. If you type a skill that is not in our data-base, please select the “Click here to create it” button below the text box.
Our introduction engine utilizes a host of inputs, but none more important than your networking targets. These are the types of people you are looking to meet within your networking group. Similar to your Skill & Service tags, these networking targets are comprised of short descriptive key words. Helpful reminder: Networking targets are usually one or two word nouns. Examples might include: Tax Attorney, Marketing or Architect. For more info visit our Getting Started Guide. After inputting or selecting a new networking target it will appear in your prioritization list. This list allows you to prioritize via drag and drop. Place your targets in descending order from most to least desirable. You will be able to edit this list at any time using your Profile & Networking settings.
Sorry, you don’t. Our networking community is based around algorithmic blind matching. This means each time an introduction is arranged we make sure the connection is mutually beneficial for you and your counterpart. We aim to deliver introductions you ask for, but occasionally we also try to include introductions we think might also be intriguing, opportunistic or advantageous. Helpful reminder: Remember to always supply feedback following each introduction. This helps us better gauge your professional needs and deliver higher quality intros!
